CYTA now offers a new advertising means at competitive prices, addressed directly to businesses in Cyprus and abroad.

The rental to third parties of advertising space on the telecards issued by
CYTA offers an alternative solution for the promotion of new products, services and advertising messages.

The public which purchases
CYTA’s Telecard, mainly tourists, schoolchildren, soldiers, foreign workers and telecard collectors, renders it ideal for the promotion of products, in particular products specifically aiming at tourists and youngsters.

Customers may choose between two advertising options:

 A. Provision of advertising space on the telecards issued and distributed by CYTA for its own needs.
Quantity allowed for orders: From 60.000 to 100.000 telecards.

The telecards issued by
CYTA in order to cover CYTA’s own needs, are divided into the following periods and the customer may ask for a specific  period in order of preference:
Summer June, July, August
Autumn September, October
Christmas November, December
Winter (New Year) January, February
Spring and Easter March, April, May
B. Supply of Telecards  to be used/distributed by the customers for their own advertising needs.
Quantity allowed for orders:

2.000  –    13.000

Regarding orders for telecards, CYTA reserves the right to order an additional limited number of telecards for telecard collectors.  In such a case, CYTA shall bear the manufacturing cost of the additional cards ordered.
The nominal value of the Telecards is CYŁ3,00 and CYŁ5,00 for choice “A” and CYŁ1,00, CYŁ2,00 CYŁ3,00, CYŁ4,00, CYŁ5,00, CYŁ10,00, CYŁ15,00 and CYŁ20,00 for choice “B (see table above).

The approval for the placement of an advertisement applies to both sides of the
telecard.

The images on the advertisement may differ on either side of the
telecard.

An advertisement may be placed for  different products belonging to the same customer on each side of the
telecard.

The logo or any advertising message which is approved for placement on a telecard will not be placed in a manner implying cooperation with
CYTA or acceptance by CYTA of services and products belonging to the customer advertising.

CYTA will use space on one or both sides of the telecard for its logo impression and for the listing of various other information regarding the issuing and use of the telecard  (date issued, number of issued cards etc.).

The customer’s application for advertisement must be submitted to
CYTA at the latest four months prior to the aimed period for distribution of the telecards. Once the application is approved, CYTA will request that the advertising message is delivered, the production of which is the customer’s responsibility.

The customer is obliged to deposit a bankers letter of guarantee for the total amount due to
CYTA, upon the signature of the contract terms.
